Agroecology-TRANSECT

DESCRIPTION:

Commissioned by the Soil Association, Agroecology Transect explores the people, practices and places shaping the future of agroecology. Southstik Studio worked in collaboration with Transfixus Creative to create a lasting digital legacy for the project: a searchable online toolkit bringing together its research, resources and knowledge.

THE PROBLEM WE SOLVED:

Agroecology encompasses a broad and complex body of knowledge, spanning research, practical experience and approaches to farming and land management. The challenge was to make this information accessible and useful to a diverse audience, while creating a digital home that could preserve and extend the project's legacy beyond its original lifespan.

We designed and developed a clear, intuitive website centred around the searchable toolkit, allowing users to easily explore and discover resources according to their own interests. The result is a considered and accessible digital resource that gives the work of Agroecology Transect a lasting home and helps its knowledge continue to be shared, explored and put into practice.
